Yesterday, I joined a fun bunch of gals for a yearly cookie exchange.
8th Annual to be exact!

My husband told me about a caramel apple cookie that he tried at work and love,
so I of course, Googled.
I came across Michael's recipe at INSPIRED BY CHARM
who fell in love with it from the Cookie Photographer.
It looked yummy so I gave it a try!
Imagine a cookie dough mixed with apple cider packets with a caramel cooked into the middle!
It is grab a glass-of-milk-good.
Try it for yourself.
It would also be a great fall cookie.
NOTE: I modified a bit by sprinkling each cookie with sugar before baking.
More sugar is always better right?
P.S. I did not win but the Hubs loved them.
I am not bitter ;)

Also, on a bad-mom note, I made a cookie that my two oldest can't have due to
their new expanders. Whoops.
