Everybody loves laundry.
NOT!
My friend Tricia writes about it here.
As I folded laundry this is what appeared...
Yes, my friends, that is ham. L, my now 9 year old, took some with her to eat on her way to the bus. Well, I guess she didn't finish it...put it in her pocket...the jeans went in the hamper...into the washing machine...and into the dryer.
I pulled it out with the "clean" load and couldn't help but laugh. Ham, seriously??
L looked at me and her shock was followed by a sweet grin as she sheepishly said "Uh, sorry."
Never a dull moment around here.

Oh my gosh, I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard!! At first I thought it was a shrunken hoodie, but when I realized it WAS ham and that it looks burned in some spots, I burst out laughing. This is so NOT what we as young, childless women imagine EVER coming across once we have kids. Funny.
Okay, I was laughing at this post again tonight as we were in need of some levity. So, I showed it to Jesse for the first time tonight. His comments, in order:
"It's surprisingly intact."
"I mean, it looks edible."
"I'd eat it!"
I am also crying from laughing. Ham? I thought it was a tortilla!
